St Mary's Eco Team
In 2021, we formed an Eco Team at St Mary's and we have now been awarded our A Rocha's Eco Church Bronze Award, we're now working towards getting our Silver Award.
What we do
As we learn from A Rocha's award programme we aim to encourage and challenge our worshipping community.
None of us are eco-experts, but we love the natural world and have concern for those who will suffer the worst effects of climate change and suffer due to our over-consumption, here in the West.
We meet once a term to plan our next steps - with communications in between when working on a specific events or projects.
