Lent, starting on Ash Wednesday, is a great season in which to explore the Christian Faith. Download the Learning Through Lent booklet for details of resources and events being held in our parish. The devotional from All We Can can be received by signing up to a weekly email here. The Church of England #LiveLent app can be downloaded to your smartphone or tablet from the usual places. The weekly book group will be reading chapters of Dethroning Mammon, which you can get from Christian Book Shops and via this link. |
Prayer is at the centre of what we do at St Mary's and St Luke's. We have a daily prayer sheet, St Mary's Daily Prayer, written by members of our congregation, available on this page and in church.
There are all sorts of other on-line resources to help you pray. For example, The 'Pray as you go' app is worth a try and the 'PrayerMate' app will let you upload details of St Mary's Daily Prayer, London Diocese prayer cycle and many of the charities we support, as well as being able to upload details of those you want to pray for personally. We offer prayer ministry during the 10 am service on 1st and 3rd Sundays.
