Children's Council
The Children's Council are appointed in April each year at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting, and they serve until July the following year, so that there is an overlap between the old and new council. Members of the first Children's Council were involved in helping appoint our Children's Minister! One year the Children's Council did some vision work with the PCC, talking with the children and presenting their ideas at the PCC Mission Action Planning Day. Members of the Children's Council have helped set up the children's welcome desk and buddy system, run activities at parish events, and helped lead worship. Each year we get lots of great ideas which bless the whole church family.
Children's Champion
The Children's Champion is appointed to be a listening ear for the children and co-ordinates the Children's Council.
Jane meets regularly with the Children's Council to listen to their suggestions and ideas.
